In her role as Community Experience Coordinator, Ljubi
works to ensure our community of clients, candidates, contractors and scribes have a positive experience no matter when and how they interact with HorizonOne.
Born in Ecuador before moving around Peru, the United States, and finally settling in Australia, Ljubi uses her diverse background and well-honed people skills to support our team to grow and engage with our communities.
When looking for a change from post-COVID remote work, Ljubi was first intrigued by HorizonOne’s team culture – especially our dog friendly office policy. In addition, she saw it as a great opportunity to combine her degree in Human Resources and an MBA, to further develop her marketing career. Ljubi loves to take a people focussed approach to her work, aligning with our team’s core values of connecting people with purpose.
Outside of work Ljubi loves the ocean – having seen some of the best parts of the world from the surface of the water after snorkelling in Cartagena, Maui, Honolulu and the Great Barrier Reef. She is also heavily involved in the Canberra Latin community, attending salsa & bachata nights, Latin American film festivals, or enjoying traditional South American cuisines.
