HorizonOne Recruitment is partnering with the Regional Investment Corporation (RIC) to support their recruitment for a range of corporate, agri-finance and executive roles.
Applications for all available roles open on 9th October 2018 and close 29th October 2018 at 11:00am. (AEST)
To apply for any of the available roles, an application form must be completed online through the HorizonOne portal. *Please Note: Any applications made outside this portal will not be considered.
The assessment process for all available roles is staged and will take place as follows:
Stage #1: Applications open for all roles
9th October 2018 – 29th October 2018
All applicants must submit an application online. This is a straightforward form which requires applicants to fill out personal information such as employment history, qualifications and contact details. Applicants will also be required to prepare a 750-word statement supporting their claims of suitability for the role.
All positions require a Baseline security clearance therefore all candidates need to be Australian Citizens.
Stage #2: Applications are shortlisted for all roles
30th October – 9th November
All applications will be assessed by a panel using a set methodology based on information provided from position descriptions.
Shortlisted applicants progressing through to the next stage will be contacted during this time to organise a time to attend a face to face interview.
Stage #3: Interviews are held for all roles
12th November – 23rd November
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to attend an interview either in Canberra or in Orange. In extreme circumstances, applicants out of state may be able to interview via video conference however this will only be allowed after permission from the panel is granted.
Applicants invited to interview will also have a reference check undertaken at this stage. Referees details are required on every application and confirmed at the time of interview booking. You’re encouraged to supply someone who has directly supervised your work or who has a clear managerial perspective of your work. It is also best practice to make sure you have advised you referee that you have submitted an application along with their details.
26th November – 7th December
Applicants who are successful at progressing through the interview and referee stage will be contacted with an offer of employment. All offers made at this stage will depend on the successful completion of a police check therefore you should be prepared to undertake the required process. Negotiations will also commence for the determination of employment start date, conditions, remuneration and relocation.
Upon completion of a successful police check, a formal employment offer will be made.
This is the first recruitment round the RIC will undertake in the establishment phase, however, there will be additional roles required in the future. They are seeking to establish a pool of candidates that are “merit listed” during this process to support future recruitment efforts.
