POSTED 12th Jan, 2019 REF NO. BBBH8249
HorizonOne is a successful specialist recruitment consultancy based in Canberra. Established in 2008, our award-winning team boasts over 75 years commercial recruitment experience and we are passionate about raising the benchmark for our industry.
When we’re at work we tackle challenges head-on with enthusiasm and determination, and we love driving new innovation. But we are just as passionate about our relationships, spending time with family and friends. We work hard so we can enjoy our nights off, weekends away and so we have the freedom to pursue our passions.
This role joins the Scribing and Campaigns team as they continue to expand their already very busy National scribing practice. As the fourth member of the in house team and working with over 50 scribing consultants across Australia, this is a chance to get in at ground level with a seriously experienced team and learn the “ins and outs” of this specialist recruitment outsourcing function. Whilst you learn a range of new systems, processes and all about the world of Government recruitment processes, there is also the opportunity to develop into a range of different career directions.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator looking to extend their capabilities and experience in an interesting, fast paced and fun working environment. You will support the team working on a wide variety of challenging and interesting projects. The team is on a massive roll, and recent success includes delivering the:
- ACT Firefighters intake 2018
- The Regional Investment Corporations inaugural recruitment round
- Department of Industry graduate round
- ACT Government Graduate round (2018)
This is a really diverse role. Work is interesting, varied and there is an opportunity to learn a great deal about people, business and the recruiting profession. For the naturally curious, you will have a birdseye view of recruitment processes across government organisations from Graduate to SES Band 2 level. Your role will start out administratively focussed before getting more involved with clients as you become more comfortable with the process.
Scribing and campaigns management is similar to recruitment, but without the sales element, and you typically work with the same “candidates” week in and week out.
The work supporting the activities of the team includes:
- Office administration and CRM and database management
- Relationship management and client servicing
- Organising, coordinating and controlling a range of processes to ensure scribes arrive at the right time and place
- Communication management
- Marketing and events administration
Ideally you have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a corporate office environment and you take pride in supporting a busy team to deliver results. You are highly organised, have a real knack for attention to detail and enjoy a role where you get to communicate regularly with a wide range of people. You are naturally curious to learn and adept at finding solutions that solve problems and improve processes. The idea of getting involved in projects that innovate the way the team operates sounds like a chance to grow and build new skills. A natural affinity with systems and the full suite of Microsoft products and CRM/database will be well regarded. An interest in social media and marketing would be great also.
