This opportunity is available in a part time or full time capacity. You will be the main auditor for the firm and will see processes through end to end and will have the ability and autonomy to deal with clients directly. The context is auditing in a business services context, and you will have the opportunity to work with a range of interesting clients from SME to large commercial entities. This business is expanding, and with multiple locations, may suit someone who goes between Sydney and Canberra. With that expansion, there is plenty of room for a strong performer to rise the ranks within the firm.
Key requirements of the role include:
- Plan audit engagements, identify potential audit risks, prepare the work plan and coordinate requirements
- Financial audit field work
- Cultivate strong client relationships
- Collect audit evidence, investigate and analyse data to support audit program
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports
- Prepare client letters in a clear and professional manner for management review
- Help mentor and train graduates (and supervise their completion of routine audit work)
You are a high performing and personable CA who wishes to take advantage of an interesting role that allows the flexibility for you to have a great work/life balance. This role is available for permanent residents and citizens and may suit an individual who has recently transitioned into Canberra (or Australia). You have at least 3 years’ experience in similar roles, have strong end to end audit experience and have demonstrated abilities dealing with clients. You are a well-trained accountant and may have a Big4 background. Your professional nature is that you get the details right, communicate well with stakeholders, and have the experience to lead others commencing their careers.
$90K – $110K + Super (pro rated for Part Time) + Bonus
Citizenship is not required for this role, and the working arrangements can be flexible to suit you and your lifestyle – including part time or flexible working hours.
