The opportunities with this firm are available in a part time or full time capacity with a focus on external and internal audit. You will be a key senior member of the assurance and risk advisory team and will see processes through end to end with have the ability and autonomy to deal with clients directly. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of interesting clients from SME to large commercial and government entities.
This business is expanding across Australia, and with that expansion, there is plenty of room for a strong performer to rise the ranks within the firm. Key requirements of the role include:
- Plan audit engagements, identify potential audit risks, prepare the work plan and coordinate requirements
- Financial audit fieldwork
- Internal audit fieldwork
- Cultivate strong client relationships
- Collect audit evidence, investigate and analyse data to support audit program
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports
- Help mentor and train graduates (and supervise their completion of routine audit work)
You are a high performing and personable CA who wishes to take advantage of an interesting role that allows flexibility for you to have a great work/life balance.
This role is available for citizens and may suit an individual who has recently transitioned into Canberra, or a person looking to take a step up in their career.
You have at least 3 years’ experience in similar roles, have strong end to end audit experience and have demonstrated abilities dealing with clients. You are a well-trained accountant and may have a Big4, ANAO, or second tier background. Your professional nature is that you get the details right, communicate well with stakeholders, and have the experience to lead others commencing their careers.
$100K – $130K + Super (pro rated for Part Time)
