IT Infrastructure Project Manager

The Organisation:

The office is located in a picturesque location that has easy bike path access in all directions, out of the hustle and bustle of the town centres you can make the most of this unique environment.

The Opportunity:

This is the opportunity to join a truly unique micro-agency, with a strong positive work culture and singular focus you will not struggle to stay motivated. Feedback from previous contractors I’ve spoken to has been that this agency has an extremely positive work environment that is more challenging and complex than what you might expect. You will be working with VIP stakeholders in a highly secure environment. You will need to use your initiative and creativity to complete your work with the mindset of ‘do a lot with a little’.

The Role:

This is a newly created 6-month role that will be working closely with the existing technical IT project manager to deliver the infrastructure upgrade that business requires. The contract is for a 6-month period after which the project will move into the BAU phase.

You will be responsible for:

  • Taking a strategic look at the IT needs of the business for the long term and forecasting potential risks and solutions
  • Overseeing and reporting on project outputs and objectives as well as research and evaluate project outcomes
  • Coordinate the use of specialist project service providers including contractors and consultants.

The Person:

Your strong communication skills will set you up for success within this small and dedicated team. Working on a project that requires you to be agile and creative is something that motivates you and you are able to pick things up quickly. Ideally you will have strong experience overseeing ICT infrastructure projects with the ability to speak ‘tech’ and translate between IT and non-technical stakeholders.

A current Baseline security clearance or higher is highly desirable.

The Salary/Rate:

The hourly rate will be commensurate with your skills and experience.
