Graduate Recruitment Consultant

No doubt 2021 was a crazy year, however, we were fortunate to come out of it in a strong position, maintaining our hiring plans throughout lockdown and COVID. We are expecting 2022 to be another strong year, as such we are keen to add recruiters to the team.
The Opportunity
We have two opportunities for you to grow a career in professional recruiting. You will initially be focused on the candidate side of recruitment and grow into a 360 Recruitment Consulting role, owning your own patch in either Technology or Marketing and Communications. In these roles you’ll be given comprehensive onboarding and training and work closely with a mentor to continue your development.
You do not need to have recruitment experience to succeed, just the right attitude and drive to be a high performer. Naturally being a people personal with an inquisitive mindset will help you hit the ground running.
- Start with a busy desk, giving you plenty of opportunities to feel success early! You won’t be stuck just making cold calls or mapping out new business
- Take a positive and mature approach to work life balance. You won’t be micromanaged, called or emailed out of hours, and there’s no chain to your desk!
- Use technology that easily transfers between work and home, allowing you to set up and work remotely with ease
- Grow your patch to further support your progression through our business
The Role
Both positions will see you work with federal government clients, blue chip commercial business and a range of non-for-profit organisations. You will have the chance to work across exclusive permanent, value-add contingent and fast-moving contract work.
Your days will be varied with multiple competing demands. You’ll be meeting top candidates, taking detailed job briefs, meeting with clients to explore gaps and upcoming needs, you’ll network, dive deeper into the sector and be comfortable juggling tasks.
The Ideal Person
A great recruiter is a broad and varied combination of different capabilities, skills and personality traits. You will also:
- Have commercial acumen and a strong ‘people instinct’
- Be a gifted communicator
- Be an information sponge, naturally curious about everything
- Have a genuine interest in recruitment
- Have previous work experience in a fast-paced environment
Salary / Rate
- 1stYear OTE $80K – $90K + Super
- Market leading bonus structure (up to 45% of the GP you generate)
