Change Manager (SharePoint + Office365)
Our client is a large, commercially focussed infrastructure business undergoing a major transformation.
This is a rare opportunity in Canberra to work for a truly commercial client as a change from the traditional APS roles, as well as the ability to make a tangible impact while the Government goes into caretaker mode.
You will get to deliver change across blue and white work environments, using change impact analyses to fully understand current practice and system use across all staff groups, working across multiple projects, and supporting users to transition to a new system.
The change has already started and our client wants someone who can hit the ground running and is able to pick up and execute existing change management and communication plans.
The client is motivated and able to hire the right person quickly.
This is a 4-5 month contract to come in and facilitate change within the organisation by engaging with stakeholders and conducting analysis and activities to support the upgrade.
Our client wants you to support staff transition to new ways of working with new systems and processes relating to SharePoint, particularly collaboration using SharePoint sites.
You will deliver change management activities to support the implementation of the new SharePoint O365 oriented systems and processes for staff across the company.
In the role you will:
- Conduct change impact assessment and business change impact analysis
- Assess business readiness for change
- Manage stakeholder matrix and engagement schedule
- Managing business challenges, objectives and interdependent activity
- Support stakeholders in adopting the change and performance with new systems
- Develop communication materials
Are you someone who is experienced in facilitating change within an organisation by engaging with stakeholders and conducting analysis and activities to support the upgrade? Someone who can empathise, manage resistance, build relationships across the business (blue collar and white collar) and develop communication and strategies to support the transition?
Ideally you are someone who has experience in a similar role – if you don’t have the SharePoint experience that’s okay so long as you have facilitated change for some type of Information/Document Management system.
You have at least 3-5 years’ experience as Change Manager or Senior Change Analyst and are experience using mainstream change management methodologies eg PROSCI/ ADKAR or NeuroPower.
Up to $100 + super per hour
