Business Analyst

The Opportunity

Utilise your wide range of experience in analysis from both business and technical aspects, excellent documentation and presentation abilities, effective and efficient communication skills, and ability to prioritise multiple concurrent tasks.

You’ll be working with best in class specialist scientists and high performing multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective business solutions.

The Role

Work with science domain specialists for gathering, analysing and documenting a complex set of user requirements and deliverables.

  • Consult with internal and external stakeholders and users to identify dependencies associated between various science activities and facilitate workshops to drive direction and user needs
  • Analyse and develop business requirements, user stories, story mapping, workflows, and other documentation for proposed and/or existing systems
  • Articulate and provide advice on key aspects of analysis and develop workflows to create a well-integrated business solution
  • Liaise with Business, ICT Multi-Disciplinary teams and Vendors as required to support the delivery of the projects

The Ideal Person

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and undertaking consultation with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, capture and document (high-level and detailed) business processes, requirements, rules, and acceptance criteria
  • Experience working on complex and multifaceted IT projects/products using the Agile method as a Business Analyst
  • Critical thinking skills and proven ability to work collaboratively, show initiative, deal with multiple users, concurrent tasks with conflicting priorities, and resolve queries quickly and effectively
  • Proven exceptional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to facilitate dynamic workshops and effectively liaise with various stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes
  • A baseline security clearance

Salary / Rate

  • 6-month contract
  • 6 Month extension
  • $100 per hour
