BA with strong Power BI
This is the chance to work in a small team that will value your time and insights. Despite some of the team working remotely they work hard to foster a strong culture where collaboration and communication is key. Your team sits within a strategic branch of the service, and will contribute to identifying systemic issues and solutions for the agency.
This is a newly created role that will work closely with the PowerBI developer and key stakeholders to understand what the requirements and expectations of the new reporting tool will be. Initially this role will be a 6 month contract with a possible extension.
Your day to day duties will include:
- Writing clear functional and technical specifications which will assist business areas transition
- Contributing to the overall functions of the section as required which includes writing briefings, developing reports, office communications and stakeholder coordination
- Responding to requests from the business area and the developer promptly to ensure the development of the BI tool meets the expected project timeframes
- Providing support and advice to the team, Senior Executive and the Office as required.
As the client is a federal government agency you must be an Australian citizen to apply.
Having a Baseline clearance is highly desirable.
You will bring your skills and experience in transitioning business areas from old to new systems. You don’t mind working autonomously as part of a geographically dispersed team. Your high level writing skills enable you to translate technical jargon and BA speak to clear and concise guidelines that show the logic and steps for non-technical users.
$53 – $63 p/h + super
