JAS-ANZ is a leading international accreditation authority that creates economic and social benefit in the sectors in which it operates. The Opportunity

This is a critical support role positioned within the Administration Services Team. The successful candidate will join a high performing team of 8 staff that manage all aspects of the accreditation process with the role focusing on scheduling, planning, and allocating assessment activities.

The Role

You will support the implementation of JAS-ANZ’s values, strategy, and processes by:

  • Supporting Accreditation Services Mangers and Sector Managers in the management of their allocated areas of responsibility
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal systems and organisational learning

Your role will include:

  • Transition and Scope Extension Applications
  • Document review, processing, and administration
  • Post assessment records administration
  • Management decision administration for transitions and scope extensions
  • Travel arrangement and bookings for assessments
  • Ensuring accuracy and correctness of administrative processes
  • Identifying opportunities for organisational improvement and development
  • Stakeholder liaison with the public, volunteers, and internal staff

Your Background and Experience

To be successful in this role, it’s essential that you have previous experience in a fast-paced administrative environment.

You will also have the following key attributes:

Coordination and Organisation

  • Ability to manage tight timeframes by planning and prioritising tasks
  • Strong project coordination/support skills to ensure on-time delivery of assessment schedules
  • Excellent attention to detail to achieve thoroughness and accuracy
  • Capacity to learn quickly to get across conformity assessment, audit, and compliance concepts

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Excellent listening and communication skills with a helpful and positive phone manner
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships to keep abreast of workload and assist the wider team

Resilience and Adaptability

  • Capacity to remain calm and composed in what can be a fast-paced and fluid environment
  • Ability to work effectively in an autonomous manner whilst being a collaborative and team player

Systems Knowledge

  • Knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Suite including Word, Outlook and Excel (basic)
  • Technically savvy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly

Salary / Rate

  • $58,500 (pro-rata) + 10.5% Super
  • Part-time 12-month role, 67.5 hours per fortnight – with a possibility of extension
  • Flexible start times between 7am and 7pm
