The Opportunity
As part of a small and friendly team, this newly created role is being offered to existing APS5 or 6 employees or as a 6-to-12-month salaried, non-ongoing opportunity for those interested in joining the federal government. Acting opportunities will be considered for a strong APS4 looking to act up to APS5 level.

The Role
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Regular financial performance analysis and brief preparation and reporting
- Stakeholder management and relationship-building
- Support the development of Internal Budgeting and Reporting
- Monthly management accounting and costings activities
The Ideal Person
Ideally, you are an experienced management accountant with strong skills in Excel and TM1. You work well both independently and in a small team. Your excellent communication skills help you engage and build relationships with key stakeholders.
You have experience in financial analysis and budget management in the private or public sector. Skilled in BI tools, you support ASL reporting, workforce initiatives, and financial guidance. Your analytical mindset ensures accuracy and efficiency in financial processes.
But most importantly, you are ambitious and driven, always looking for opportunities to grow and develop your skills. You thrive in a dynamic environment, eager to learn from an experienced team leader while contributing to the success of the team.

Salary / Rate
- $85k – $105k + 15.4% Super
