Data Analyst

Multiple positions in a major data driven project | Long term contract potential to June 2026 | ETL-> Data Visualisation (Power BI/ QLIK)

This role is within large social policy agency based in Woden.

The Department is launching a major data-driven project to support the implementation of a new Act and a multi-billion-dollar program.

  • Support the transition to a framework that will benefits millions of Australians with a focus on data quality, reporting, and analysis
  • Potential for contract through to June 2026
The Role

Due to the nature of this project your role may include

  • Extracting and completing data analysis/modelling from system extracts and the data warehouse to support effective transition of providers and clients to new programs under Program and the new Act
  • Preparing operational reports and visualisations/dashboards to support transition of providers and clients to new programs under the Program & the Act using tools including, but not limited to, Qlik, Power BI and Cognos
The Ideal Person

This role will suit an EL1 or equivalent Data Analyst (or an APS6 ready to step up) with experience across the data lifecycle from ETL/ ELT through to visualisations with bonus points if you’ve used both QLIK & Power BI and if you have experience working on Health and/or Aged Care datasets or databases.

Australian citizenship with Baseline or above is mandatory.

Salary / Rate

These rates for these positions will align to current market rates for EL1 based on the match of your skills and experience for this project.

These roles will be offered as labour hire contract with the potential through to June 2026.
