The Role
The size and scope of this team the questions this team provides data and insights on offer a broad variety of engaging projects.
You’ll take the lead in managing and executing data flows, primarily using SAS, while also working with SQL and Python.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining robust data pipelines using SAS and SQL
- Identifying opportunities to enhance and streamline data flows
- Cleaning, transforming, and analysing datasets
- Responding to ad hoc queries from policy and program areas, such as: “How many ABC do we have in XYZ?”, “What’s the retention rate for ABC under the current policy?”
The Ideal Person
This role will suit a SAS expert who loves working in that environment who come in and hit the ground running.
From a personality perspective enthusiasm, good communication skills and a passion for SAS would make you a good fit.

A current Baseline clearance is required due to the nature of the work.
Salary / Rate
This vacancy is being offered at the APS6/EL1 equivalent rate, aligned with market rates and your skills and experience.
This role is being offered as a full-time labour hire contract with immediate start, until 14 November 2025 with a 12-month extension option.
